Hecht & Bannier Languedoc Blanc 2013
Formed in 2002, Hecht et Bannier produces wines that are reference points for the Languedoc, Roussillon and Provence. The Hecht et Bannier Languedoc Blanc is a blend of two southern French varietals which complement each other: Picpoul Blanc and Roussanne. Bordering the Etang de Thau along the Mediterranean coast, they have the benefit of relatively cool terroirs on which vines “stare” at the sea. Throughout the summer this mild maritime influence enables the grapes to preserve their natural acidity. Both varietals being late ripening grapes they fit the Mediterranean climatic conditions. They allow the aromatic flavors preservation until the harvest at the end of September or early October for some Picpoul. This wine is aged 100% in stainless steel tank.
